New Layout Menu Button Mouseover

Is the mouseover on the menu buttons (home, forum, blogs, whats new?) supposed to be different than the standard image? Currently, the buttons are, in their base state, out of line with the rest of the bar they are in, and on mouseover, they line back up like they seemingly normally should. If you ask me, it either needs to be the other way around, or they need to always be in line with the bar they are in.

That's how vBulletin has it setup I believe.

Seems goofy. The images for before and after are different. That just seems strange to me.

its common to have a mouse over event for image changes but i agree with bone that it shouldn't be that the starting image is misaligned.

Yeah I guess I should have revised the way I said it. I think it is weird that one image is in sync and one is out of sync with the rest of the bar. I have no problem with mouseover effects in general, but it ought to start in line with the bar, and on mouseover, appear to raise up or push in or change color or something. Even when that happens, the image ought to still be in phase with the rest of the bar, just shifted up, down, or in color.
