Hmm? My Schools IP is banned...

Hey just thought I'd put this up here,
When I tried getting on to the forums from my schools computers during my spare, I was greeted by a saddening message that said something along the lines of; The Administrator has banned your IP if you wish to contact them blah blah blah.

I was wondering if this a site malfunction, or if maybe I someone did something to get the IP banned?

EDIT: Its not my schools internet filter, its the forum that says the administrator has blocked my IP

EDIT 2: 198.163.212.16 is my schools IP address

It would probably help to list the ip of your school/ the station you were working on.

Yes Lukin my school has that too. That is simply from us students to go on gaming sites even though the school system will never be able to block out ALL the gaming sites but the ones with names such as gaming, games, game are usually blocked :P
The only way is to bypass it using a personal connection through your phone or simply acquiring the password....

Ditto. but wrong you can do it many other ways other than just phone connection or the password most of them arn't that secure. Networking skills let you get around it and check other sites / use minecraft if you're a winner.

Guys, his internet isn't being filtered, from what I've read.

He is actually getting ON the site, but he isn't allowed access to the forums because of a ban.

If you'd post your IP, I'm sure Ciel could do something about it.

that happened to my friend once because he was buying warhammer over the interwebs online and the admin team got onto him, he was owned.

Im going to add my schools IP to see if Ciel can fix the problem...

School is pretty much my only computer time for the time being
